A grail of a garment. It's something of a shawl/wrap/cardigan hybrid, hard to describe but indispensable once worn. Sporty with jeans, dramatic with a dress, striking with a skirt. It's done in a 2 x 2 rib throughout, in pieces, with a back and left and right front. There's no shaping for armholes anywhere on the body of the piece, but there is shaping on the shoulders; sleeves have a gradual cap. Altogether it's an intensely eyecatching piece and yet terribly easy to wear-- you'll reach for it all the time-- as well as terribly easy to knit.
