This is one of those invaluable patterns that appeals to most women and is flattering on almost all of them. Done in a popular chunky weight, there are two separately-worked pieces here. The sweater is longline with no shaping other than the curved-in armholes and the front neck; the sleeves have a good cap. The cowl is worked flat, joined at its edges to form a round, then sewn down to the back neck and sides of the front neck; you let the rest of it just hang down. We would be tempted not to sew it down at all, just wrap and drape it at will.
