The little leaf border detail on the hat on the right recalls some of the most popular Fiber Trends hats; it's knitted sideways, of course, then the main band and border are joined together, and the entire thing is worked up to the crown. Crown decreases are given round by round; crown pattern is a simple knit/purl stitch.
