How does Avery always get it so right? Here she reinterprets a style that could come from the fifties, but makes it uniquely hers. The combination of lace (just exactly enough for enticement) and cable patterns is perfectly charming. The neck is just slide-y enough for comfort and allure, but not enough to be in any way sloppy. You can see the artist in the way she frames the raglan seams with little cables, and still provides a selvage stitch for neat seaming. Stitch patterns are separately charted for front/back and sleeves, and there's just enough waist shaping to make this a truly girly sweater. Note that yarn is used doubled throughout.
