Just look at the texture, and the cut, and the judgment and balance of it. Wrap cardigans are all around, sometimes with floppy ties. This one is remarkable. It has all the flattering advantages of the wrap shape, but the right front is seamed neatly along the left side; you get the look and effect but not the untidiness. The pattern stitch is interesting but not strident, and uses slipped stitches as well as elementary eyelets. Shoulders, back neck, sleeve caps and armholes are all beautifully shaped. Original yarn was 100% silk tape, 109 yards/100 metres to 25g, suggested gauge in st st 28 sts to 4"/10cm on a 3.75mm/US5 needle.
