Each of these three relaxed garments has its roots in the guernsey tradition. Nicholas's large-cabled pullover on the left has a background of double moss stitch; Mills's sweater and cardi sport the traditional knit/purl motifs, augmented by cables on the yoke in the grey tweedy piece. The cardi has pockets and slightly angled armholes; otherwise all lines are straight except for necks (the grey piece's back neck is shaped, too). None of the original yarns are still around, but these would be lovely in the new merino/camel Kumara or cotton/wool Solstice; be sure to get gauge.
