These are, of course, essentially the same sweater: the adult's version's motif is slightly scaled down for children. All the good comforting elements of a traditional Icelandic yoke sweater are here: The body's knitted in the round to the underarms, where you join the sleeves (also knitted in the round), and you finish the yoke and neck... you guessed it... in the round! This design's motif is perhaps especially reminiscent of Vikings and ancient carvings, and as such, would look mighty handsome on a fellow, too. These are designs 5 and 6 from Book 18 (number may vary).
